What is the dress code for light industrial or clerical positions?

Attire for all positions is casual. Presentable jeans and a t-shirt, sweatshirts, and tennis shoes or leather boots. Associates are not permitted to wear any type of open-toed shoes or shorts. Loose jewelry on hands, wrist, or neck are also prohibited. Steel toed shoes are not required.

How are absences handled?

Attendance is critical to our associates. If you are unable to report to or will be late for work, you must call Ace Personnel at (913) 717-7410 and leave a message with your name, department you are working in, and a reason for your absence. If you are unable to speak with an account manager, you will be able to reach the automated phone line which is answered 24 hours a day. Excessive absences will lead to termination.

What can I expect for time and pay?

Associates will clock in on their employer’s time clock. Employers will be responsible for confirming an associate’s time for Ace Personnel on a weekly basis. Any time in excess of 40 hours worked per week will be paid at time and a half.

Can I bring personal belongings or my cell phone?

Bringing valuables to work is discouraged. Headphones are not allowed. Employees are not permitted to use cell phones during the workday, except during their lunch period. This includes no calling, no texting, and no taking of incoming calls. Multiple offenses will result in termination.

Can I smoke at my job?

Smoking is prohibited in the workplace. It is also prohibited within 25 feet of any entrance. If you decide to step 25 feet away from the building to smoke, please be courteous and properly and safely discard all smoking materials.

How will I be paid?

Paychecks will be delivered to all employees. It is the employee’s responsibility to update any new phone numbers or change of address to Ace Personnel. Checks will be passed out on Fridays.
