Ace Personnel founder, Shane Jones, began his career in the industry with a national firm. Jones quickly recognized a profitable opportunity and spent some time studying the field. In 1989, with seed money obtained by borrowing against his '84 Chevy, Jones formed Ace Personnel.

Jones kept overhead to a minimum through the creation of the regional office concept. A sophisticated database and a variety of unique customer service techniques enabled Ace Personnel to compete with the larger services from day one. A safety program and an aggressive claims-handling system were developed to lower unwieldy workers' compensation premiums. Creative problem solving has been a key to Ace Personnel's success.
